Another Trio down!
Originally I was going to draw them in their final KH3 outfits, but decided against it, as their Organization coats will connect the Trio more- or so I feel anyway.

I’m theming the flowers even further, the Destiny Trio’s theme was crowns, whilst I chose ‘bunches’ for the Seasalt Trio.
I was also going to have Isa/Siax in the group as well to make the Seasalt Family, but decided against it as it would throw the trio theme off. I only got through two of his three flowers before deciding against it- and they were yellow roses and blue hydrangeas.

Flowers and their meanings are under the cut

Xion: Forget-me-not, Statice(Sea Lavender), Zinnias

Xion is someone who is forgotten by all by her choice and is someone who just wanted a friend or two to stick by, the flowers chosen for her a symbolic of her choice to be forgotten.

Forget-me-nots are an obvious choice for Xion, as they are the flower for remembrance. They also symbolise happy memories with the people you love and connections that last through all time. The flowers starting to spread onto her shoulder says that she is starting to be consumed by the memories poured into her by both Sora and Roxas.

Statice, much like forget-me-not are flowers that symbolise remembrance, as well as sympathy. An alternate name for Statice is ‘Sea Lavender’ which in this case strengthens the bond between Kairi and Xion.

Zinnia flowers have several meanings including the power to Endure through hard times and the thoughts of friendships and loved ones. Their colours also have meaning; Yellow for daily remembrance, White for Goodness and hope, Red for steadfastness and endurance, and orange for lasting friendship.

Roxas: Snapdragon, Begonias, Dahlia

I found Roxas’s floral choices a bit challenging, but I feel like the choices I have made for him are correct, if a bit sombre.

Snapdragons are a double-edge sword of meanings, as it both represents deceit and betrayal, as well as Strength under great pressure, and was also sometimes used and planted as a charm against ill omens. I chose snapdragons for Roxas due to the betrayal of all he knew and believed in for over a year- the Organization, and all the ill will and hardship they caused him, and how he persevered through it all.

Much like Snapdragons, Begonias foretell warnings of the future and are equivalent of unhappy distractions that bring your attention away from the things you love. However their yellow colour denotes harmony between friends and the happiness that their comfort brings.

Dahlias represent inner-strength and facing numerous hardships and still staying strong, cheerful and kind; staying true to who you are despite the road of trials you have faced. This felt apt for Roxas, as despite facing cruelty and seen as nothing more as a mistake and a tool, he still ends up as someone who is kind and friendly towards others.

Axel/Lea: Alstromemeria, Periwinkle, Amaryllis

Axel is beyond a doubt very friend-orientated and hopelessly loyal to those who share in his friendship, So it’s no surprise that the flowers chosen for him reflect this.

Alstroemerias symbolise  utmost devotion and support between friends, from newly acquired friendships to life-long friends, withstanding every hardship they face.

Periwinkles are all about remembering the good times with your friends and connections that last through eternity, from the first stages of a blossoming friendship and everything beyond.

Amaryllis is the only non-friendship orientated flower Axel has. Amaryllis is all about the self- mostly self confidence, which he displays at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3; where he basically tells Xemnas to suck it, even though he once feared what Xemnas would do if he (or Roxas) were to leave the Organization.
